Tanya Vlach is coming home from NY to the fog to host a party at Kunst-Stoff Arts, as a last and final push to raise funds through her Kickstarter campaign for phase one of engineering the bionic camera eye.
While we love Kickstarter we also want to enjoy you in person, meet and greet donors, friends, and enthusiasts. This is the chance to ritualize this process of crowd-funding of the making of a bionic camera eye.
Even if you can't physically be in SF - we will be live-streaming the event - and if you have donated even a dollar you can get a link to get in on the fun.
We've made our goal! Thanks to you and the generous donation of Square Enix and a couple of Individual Donors- but again this is the minimal for just stage one of building a prototype. We definitely need more than 100k for it to be a viable device! So we need to keep raising money!
The evening is guaranteed to stir the imagination. There will be music, video installations, film screenings and heated discussions about the possibilities and limitations of technology on the human body.
